need want have the 90s choker trend is back

Unless you’re totally out of the loop, you likely know that a mainstay fashion trend this season is the choker. While there are various spins on this necklace, one thing is for sure: the choker has evolved past its 90s heyday. It’s no secret that Kim Kardashian loves a good choker; she was recently spotted by US Magazine wearing the vintage choker that was given to her mom by the late Nicole Brown Simpson (gasp!). Get Leashed is loving this flexible trend as it shifts effortlessly between LBDs and white tees. Plus it lets us match our furry friends’ style that much better. This month’s NEED. WANT. HAVE. list would definitely make any little kitten purr.

The ‘Beluga’ Cat Collar is Cheshire and Wain’s most luxurious cat collar to date. This beautiful collar is lined in bright blue suede and made from ‘caviar grain’ leather and comes packaged in a novelty caviar tin. It’s definitely the perfect gift for any pampered pussy.

Almas is produced from the eggs of a rare albino sturgeon between 60-100 years old that swims in the southern Caspian Sea.

CHANEL Double Faux Pearl Choker

When Chanel releases new pieces, it’s easy to see which ones will be highly coveted and collected; the Double Faux Pearl Choker definitely makes that list. This gorgeous choker originally appeared as part of the Act I Summer 2014 Collection. It’s a modern twist on a pearl necklace with a dual hinge closure. The original estimated retail price of this Chanel piece was $3,170, but Get Leashed was able to track a couple of these down via luxury retail with a price tag of $2,195. It’s always interesting to see what goes around, comes back around again. As the Get Leashed Style Team will tell you, Chanel is always a good investment (well, that’s what you can tell your partner, anyways).

Safety Chain Choker by Eddie Borgo

Ugh, as if! Ok, so the 90’s had many questionable fashion moments; however the choker made a killer comeback this season and is still going strong. The cult classic movie Clueless had a long-lasting impact on fashion. One of the most notable trends was the stretch choker, as worn by Tai Frasier (played by the late Brittany Murphy). Although this necklace comes in many forms, the Get Leashed Style Team is all about a sexy take on ‘master and servant.’ Feeling a bit saucy? This Eddie Borgo Safety Chain Choker might make you look as if you’ve ended up in the dog house.
