Of course this place cares about their employees’ babies, fur and human, alike – their mascot is a DOG!

A Scottish Brewery opening soon in Ohio has announced that it will be a first USA company to give one week of “paw-ternity” leave for their employees when they bring home a new dog or puppy. This gives dog owners the time they need to work with, train, and bond with their new dog.

This Rottie puppy is adorable, but already a handful. Here he is trying to distract you from the mess he made behind him!

The company co-founder, James Watt said, “It’s not easy trying to juggle work and settle a new dog into your life, and many members of our crew have four-legged friends at home. We wanted to take the stress out of the situation and let our teams take the time they need to welcome their new puppy or dog into their family.”

As we all know, puppies can be a handful – especially when they do things like this…

In an effort to make it up there with the big guns like Facebook and Google (who aren’t number 1, by the way), this perk is a step towards BrewDog becoming the best place to work for its 1000 and more employees. It’s also an addition to enhanced maternity and paternity leaves and dog-friendly offices!
