Juniper is this tiny muffin! She’s an 11 week old Australian Shepherd-White German Shepherd mix. She’s got the fluff of an Aussie and the bunny ears of a German Shepherd Dog (GSD). Juniper lives in Utah with her mom Ailine and likes to run around in the grass and find sticks to bite. When she’s inside and doesn’t have access to sticks, she likes to munch on her mommy’s fingers instead!

Juniper was a teeny fluffy ball of energy when she was a smaller puppy. How did she fill her time and use up her energy? She spent most of her puppyhood running around her big backyard, a giant world filled with soft green grass and tennis balls! Can we just take a minute to acknowledge Juniper’s floppy ears?

Juniper has always been an adventurous pup, fearlessly exploring new sights, sounds, and smells. She marched paw first onto these rocks without any hesitation. Nothing will ever get in her way!

You know that she truly loves frolicking, leaping, and running because she’s always smiling from floppy ear to floppy ear. Is Juniper running towards her owner, a stick of perfect proportions, or perhaps, a squirrel that she’d like to befriend? Any of those options would make her a happy girl!

While Juniper has encountered obstacles on past adventures, she always finds a way around them!

While it may look like this fence defeated Juniper, that is definitely not what happened. It’s true that her body was a little too chunky to fit through the narrow spaces, but she devised a plan to free herself! She persevered and moved on to the next adventure!

As Juniper grew, she found new, better objects to climb and conquer. She wanted to enjoy the view from this big tree, but now that that’s done, she’s looking for another place to frolic! “I like the look of that playground over there.”

As a puppy, she had her fair share of time-outs. It turns out, you can bite too many fingers, and Ailine didn’t find it as entertaining as Juniper did. Luckily, there are so many other ways to have a fun.

Juniper wants to run and play, but these human arms are proving to be a tricky obstacle to escape from. The silver lining is that she’s getting lots of snuggles and affection from those around her.

She’s a contagiously happy pup! You’re smiling right now, aren’t you?

She zooms zooms so fast around the backyard that she’s practically a blur. If you’re not running, panting, and playing, you’re not living life to the max!

When she finally finds a stick that satisfies her criteria, she’ll stop running to gnaw, wrestle, and chew on it for a bit. When you find such an amazing stick, you need to take time to appreciate it … and then destroy it.

Juniper finds fun, excitement, and joy wherever she is. She loves hopping out of hiding places to surprise people with her giant, contagious smile!

This happy pup enjoys meeting and making new friends every day. She gives them a “Hello! I’m Juniper” sniff and asks if they can become BFFs. Nobody could refuse that face or her offer of friendship.

This little bug will play all day if you let her.

Here she is play with one of @sunnysidegoldens‘ puppies. Juniper could care less about the dandelion. The other puppy has piqued her curiosity. “She’s like me, but she doesn’t look like me!”

She’s ready to (playfully) attack her puppy playmate. She has to nibble at everything. It’s how she gets attention and shows affection. Juniper, you know there are other ways, right?

Juniper is growing like a weed, but she doesn’t let her size stop her from playing. She can run farther and faster now that she’s bigger. In the blink of an eye, she’ll be even bigger!

After she’s tuckered out from playtime, those human arms, formerly known as “obstacles,” become a comfy, cozy haven for a well-deserved nap. “I didn’t want to be held before, but now, I definitely want to be held!”
