The attachment between an owner and their dog is unbelievable. You fall in love with your dog from day one. You suffer when they suffer and feel happy when they’re happy. The thought of losing your pet is an owner’s greatest fear. Saying goodbye is devastating but your dog will always have a very special place in your heart. So far, 2018 has been a sad year for celebrities’ pets.

44 year old model and actress Molly Sims recently lost Poupette, who she called her best friend. The 19 year old Yorkshire Terrier was her constant companion. Her adorable pup was with her during the best of times and the hard times, when Molly was single, married, with kids, and even walked the runways with her. Imagine how adorable Poupette would look with her mom on the Paris Fashion Week catwalk!

Molly posted an emotional message on her Instagram page mourning the loss of her cute Poupette:

Today I said goodbye to my sweet Poupette,” Sims captioned a photo of her and her late dog. “She has been my MVP for almost 19 years. She found a way to mend my broken heart and bring me sunshine on my darkest days. She was my constant in a world that never stopped moving.”

Another one of Molly’s Yorkies, Chloe, turned 17 recently!

Poupette delighted Molly and her family with 6 furry babies as well as unforgettable memories. The actress and model thanked her fans for all their support during her loss and says of Poupette, she was the “…best gift I ever got.”

Molly’s Instagram message ended with a touching note:

I am sure she is now living her dream eating the best treats in heaven with her brother Dukey.

Molly has Poupette’s daughter Chloe to help her move past the loss.
