Style in the City: Miami’s Lincoln Road

Pack your bags and get ready for a year-round tan…we’re heading to Miami!

Miami is the hard-partying center for food, fashion and culture in Florida. But beyond the gorgeous beaches and rock-hard abs, something unique is brewing in the warm salty sea–Miami has, as of late, turned into a bit of an entrepreneurial hub for women. Maybe it has something to do with the diverse environment or the beautiful, sunny weather. Or maybe it has to do with the fact that Miami was the only major city in the U.S. by a woman, Julia Tuttle, 1891. Whatever it is, we’re digging it!

The Miami Female loves attention and is all about making a grand entrance. Hair color of choice: blonde. Fitness level: high. Noted style: revealing. Average size: 0. Miami is the epicenter of the south for stunning women; from local models to imports, Miami attracts a bevy of beauties from all corners of the globe. And when it comes to fashionable options, Miami delivers the goods. From club wear to designer frocks, shopping in the Lincoln Road area has a lot to offer. If you’re looking for luxury brand retailers such as Hermes, Louis Vuitton and Cartier, instead of taking a shopping trip to Bal Harbour, you’ll find their new homes nestled in the Miami Design District.

For the Miami pet-lover, service culture has gone completely to the dogs. Pet concierges, pawdicures and customized menus for pets are now the norm. If you’re looking for a pet-friendly hotel, you can book the Superhero Pet Getaway at the EPIC Hotel Miami, which includes a pet bed, food and water bowls, dog walking service and pawdicures. You will find some of the coolest (and most expensive) pet products in this city, as well as fur baby events such as healthy cooking classes for dogs at the Doggie Bag Café. The Magic City is basically Doggie heaven!
