Now that Bodhi, the Shiba Inu “Menswear Dog” has taken the dog modelling scene by storm, a number of other apparel companies are getting in on the dog-loving good times. Each year, online tie and bowtie vendor Bows-N-Ties chooses a charitable cause to contribute to and this year they have selected the San Francisco SPCA, an animal shelter, spay/neuter clinic, and full-service public animal hospital. The campaign, which according to their website “marries fashion and activism to raise funds for homeless animals,” has been appropriately dubbed Dogs-N-Ties by the distributor. They have vowed to donate a generous 100% of profits from product sales to the SFSPCA.

If you need incentive beyond the cause to contribute towards the $30,000 goal, Dogs-N-Ties features stylish ties and scarves for dogs in 6 different motifs: Beagle, Bulldog (French and English), Chihuaha, Poodle and “Weiner Dog.” Quantities are limited, so hurry over to the website and place your order. Not only will you be helping homeless animals in the San Francisco area, but you’ll be picking up accessories so dapper that Bodhi himself will be wishing he could climb into one of their scarves for a shoot.

Check out the ties and open your wallets at Dogs ‘N Ties. Your wardrobe and/or your dog will thank you–and contributing to such a great cause will leave you feeling rewarded during the holiday season when the true meaning of giving can sometimes go overlooked.
