An innovative and recognized expert in the digital space, Dawna has graced the covers of Marketing and Strategy Magazines for winning Digital Agency of the Year, and has been featured in Profit magazine. Profit recognized Dawna for nine consecutive years in their Top 100 Women Entrepreneurs, eventually achieving top 10 and ranking number six in 2012.

While building henderson bas, Dawna’s work attracted and won some of the worlds biggest brands including Coke, Nike, Joe Fresh, Mercedes Benz and Virgin. In just 13 years, the business grew to an unprecedented $21M in billings consistently winning Canadian and International awards.

Proactive and inventive, Dawna went above and beyond marketing her Clients. She and her team developed products and services for Clients like Molson and Nike building them new and profitable lines of business. Her entrepreneurial drive garnered industry recognition and fast paced growth for both henderson bas and its Clients.

Dawna served as IAB Canada Board Chair for two years and as a board member for six years, Dawna helped shape the digital industry by establishing online privacy and advertising standards.

She started her career at Canadian Press as a senior photo editor on the international desk, and worked on some of the biggest news stories of the time.

Dawna is also an animal activist who gives her time to many organizations and serves on the board of the Turks & Caicos SPCA.
