Vladimir Putin Gets A New Puppy And We Love It!

The meme-hater President of Russia loves his doggos.

To be quite honest, my knowledge surrounding Russia’s president is limited to three things: he and Trump are the butt of a lot of jokes (do they like each other?? Do they agree?? I think so!), he banned memes, which led to the Internet making more memes of him, and he loves dogs. He loves dogs so much that other countries’ leaders gift him with PUPPIES. How do I become President and how do I get puppies??

The President of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, gifted President Putin with an Alabai puppy for his birthday!

President Putin immediately grabbed the puppy and started cuddling the ball of fur even almost forgetting to shake President Berdimuhamedow’s hand in gratitude.

He appropriately squashed the squishy pupper and kissed him on the head! It was absolutely adorable and the photos prove it.

Do you know what’s even cuter than a photo? A Gif. Thus, the gif of President Putin kissing his new puppy and sitting down for more cuddles!!

This isn’t the first time Putin’s gotten a puppy.

His first dog, Konni, was a black Labrador Retriever that the Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigui gave to him. Apparently, Konni was the secret in solving Putin’s bad moods.

The President has two more dogs that he actively plays with – a Karakachin named Buffy and an Akita named Yume.

Buffy was a gift from the Bulgarian President in 2010. Putin is found of big dogs like Buffy who grew to be bigger than Putin himself!

Yume, his Akita, is also a fierce dog. A gift from a Japanese official in 2015, Yume runs around barking at everyone (journalists) until President Putin gives her treats. He calls her a “no-nonsense” dog.

His new puppy is expected to grow up to be a menacing looking dog too!

The Alabai breed is native to Turkmenistan and grow up to be fierce shepherding dogs, known to be fearless of wolves!

President Putin named his new puppy Verny – a word in Russian that means loyal. He continued the meeting with Verny in his lap.

President Vladimir Putin loves his dogs as much as he hates memes. He regularly walks and plays with his dogs and they stay by his side loyally.

Just like his dogs, there seem to be no end to the Putin and Trump memes. They’re even on buildings! Memes like these give me the limited knowledge on the Russian President.

He’s on greeting card memes, pepe the frog memes, and even dog memes.

Remember the “he attacc” memes we shared recently in another article? Yup, President Putin was the subject of that meme too.

But what we can’t get over is just how much love oozes from President Putin when he’s with his dogs. They all look so cuddly!

Just look how happy he is with Buffy. Ugh, who needs to be President when you have that many dogs that love you.

We hope you appreciated this piece and just so you know, President Putin and his many, many puppers of course approves this piece (we hope)!
