In addition to the regular competition, there is also a junior competition held at the AKC National Championship. To compete in this event, participants must be under 18 years old and have maintained a grade point average of at least 3.0 or equivalent.

We are proud to bring you some of the 2017 American Kennel Club winners and strongly encourage you to watch the competition. This is an event you will enjoy watching with your family, including your furry friends. All the dogs competing are absolutely beautiful and represent the best-in-class among specific pedigrees from the world’s most reputable and trusted breeders.

This Pekingese won in the Toy Group category. I’ll admit, this is one of the breeds I had never heard of before. Dogs in this group are very popular due to their manageable size.
