One company aims to use puppies help those who work in the Financial Sector

The only grey we want to be feeling is the warmth and fluffiness of a grey puppy!
It’s two weeks into the new year. It’s cold and grey out, and the sun hasn’t been seen for what now feels like months. It’s no wonder that all the data indicates that that the third Monday in January is the most depressing day of the year. There’s even a name for this notoriously lack luster day, it is Blue Monday, aptly named after the 1980’s New Order hit. January 15th is this year’s Blue Monday and Cadillac Fairview, a real estate holdings and development company, is waging war against this melancholy day with the best cure – puppies!
Pop-Up Puppy Parks will be coming to the one of the busiest area’s of Toronto – the financial district. If you plan on cruising through the PATH system on your way to the office on Monday this is what you need know to make sure you don’t miss out on some serious puppy-love!
Other pop-up locations will include Cadillac Fairview Tower, 20 Queen Street W. and RBC Centre, 155 Wellington St. W, Toronto, ON.

Financial district workers, and passers-through, can “take a walk to the park” and enjoy some of nature’s antidepressant – puppy happiness! Toronto’s very own Elvis Pawsley will be at TD and the Cadillac Fairview location!
This project is part of a larger engagement program that is inspired by the CAMH (Centre for Addiction and Mental Health) pet therapy program. Interactive animal therapy can help patients who are suffering to both fight and address the causes of mental illness.
The program aims to engage people in sustainable and wellness initiatives that contribute to the well-being of the Financial District community as a whole. Cadillac Fairview will donate $5,000 in support of CAMH’s pet therapy program as part of their Blue Monday pilot program.
