The brand’s Creative Director’s own dogs inspired the designs

There’s no denying, 2017 was a great year for Gucci. The brand earned the enviable status as most searched and top-selling brand of the year. Now in 2018, they are making a statement by tapping into an ever popular muse: the dog.

Fierce tigers and embellished snakes are part of the Gucci brand ethos, and now for the year of the dog, the canine becomes the next animal in the Chinese zodiac to be given a focus by the Italian company.

The beautiful campaign for the year of the dog capsule collection was shot by photographer Petra Collins (read our interview with her talented sister, Anna, here) and the images are a dog and designer label lover’s dream.
