Canine Couture Designer Anthony Rubio Celebrates Year Of The Dog

See What The Designer Showed During New York Fashion Week

Designer Anthony Rubio has made it his mission in life to make men, women, and yes, canines, look good. As a dog couturier, featured in fashion press like Vogue Italia and Women’s Wear Daily, it comes as no surprise Anthony is celebrating the year of the dog in a big way. While the couture world is all about beyond belief glamour, Anthony is also a canine advocate who has been honored by the Humane Society. His models muses? His own adopted Chihuahuas!

Last week in Beverly Hills, the designer and a bevy of female models and pups showcased both Canine Couture and women’s wear for the annual Chamber of Commerce celebration. Stunning appliques, patterns, and textures were seen in the beautiful handiwork. Seen above, Pomsky Little Grey Shoes walked for Anthony for the first time in his year of the dog show.

Dubbed the “Dior of Dog Fashion”, Anthony showed his Fall Winter 2018 collection just last night during New York Fashion week, with both human and dog models in his creations. Already, fans from all over the world are showing love for the glittering designs.

Fashion never comes before function for Anthony, as he ensures animal safety above all in his design choices. Fluffy model Ted (@ted_gram) looks quite content to us! Human models, not to be upstaged by their adorable catwalk partners, shone in intricate gowns and capes.
