Makeup gurus amaze me with the magic they can do with all the products they find. I will admit that makeup just isn’t my forte.  If you dropped me off at a cosmetics counter, I would wonder aimlessly marvelling at the beautiful colors and not have a clue what to do with any of it.  Alas, I am even ambivalent about the skin perfecting powers of foundation. Then I met Karity.

Isaac Rami, the head of this magical line of cruelty-free makeup, named the brand after the love of his life and, now, beautiful wife; Karity is her maiden name. The products are deep and true in pigmentation, long wearing with minimal fall out, and totally into supporting animals. They had me at love of his life…

Their latest initiative, “Palette For Paws”, has Karity partnered with the SPCA so that when a client purchases a palette, Karity provides a meal to a shelter animal. Karity is already certified by PETA’s “Beauty Without Bunnies” and guaranteed is cruelty-free and vegan. This palette initiative is just one more super cute reason to dive into the rich colors of this luxury brand.
