Welcome to dog showers – the latest in must-have home innovation. Imagine how amazing it would be to have a dedicated space in your house to wash your dog? No more hair and suds and water everywhere! According to the New York Times, a growing population of pet owners are adding dog showers to their homes as the popularity of these pet-only bathing havens grows.

It is definitely more comfortable to wash your large-sized pup in one of these showers versus a human-centered bathtub. You can even stand inside most models, if needed. Pet trendsetters are adding dog showers to existing laundry rooms or mudrooms in order to access existing plumbing.
The cost? It all depends on the size, the tile you choose, and how “fancy” you want it to look. Dog showers will cost around $3,500 USD, but if you are handy, the price could be significantly lower. The showers can be built to be slightly raised in order to reduce the strain on your back. These showers are also multi-purpose as you can also use them to clean outdoor gear or for cleaning up after messy art projects.
The dog shower will no doubt add value to your home and it will also give opportunity for turning a chore into a fun, family activity. Let us know what features you would include in your dream “dog bath paradise”.
